The Cardinals are in the Superbowl. What a season. It’s been pointed out to me that once upon a time a few years ago, I called for Kurt Warner to lose his job. I was totally wrong. And they fired Denny Green instead and now the cards are in the Superbowl. So hats off to KW, and let’s see him get another ring in 2 weeks!

This is Sandy and Steve, our season ticket neighbors, who brought a little positive attitude to the game. The stadium was ridiculously loud, and despite it being a beautiful 79 degree day, the roof was closed to make it even louder. The brid’s nest has got to be one of the loudest stadiums in the league. Visiting teams had something like 45 false start penalties on the year.

And here is a panorama taken from just in front of our seats. You can see me in the background in a gray hat not paying attention. Jesse’s girlfriend Kayla is standing up next to me wearing an edge jersey.
GO CARDINALS!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I’d like to introduce everyone to the newest member of the family, Teavie:

MB has been begging for months, and I finally relented and got her a new friend for the house for Christmas. I looked around for a long time and I think she’s the best possible kind available, and will be a good fit for our lifestyle. Isn’t she beautiful? She’s my new best friend, and I spend at least 4 hours a day playing with her. She loves playing football with me all weekend, and she gets along great with all my friends (although the men seem to like her more than the women). She doesn’t like to go on walks, but she seems right at home if we’re all just sitting around in the same room with her.
She’s just under 50 pounds; gorgeous black with a just a few highlights. She was born February 14th, which makes her almost a year old, but that’s ok because I read that their lifespan is at least 10 years. And since I work from home, we get to be together almost all day long! To anyone out there who’s been thinking about adding to the family, I have to say this was the best purchase I’ve made in years, and I fully recommend it — just do your research before hand because it is a major responsibility. Our lives haven’t been the same since I brought her home, and I don’t know how I ever lived without her in the first place!
Oh yeah, we got a dog too. He’s a border collie named Barñardo.
