Kurt Warner, despite his superbowl ring, is the worst starting quarterback in the NFL today. There, I said it.
I forgive Warner for his 2 red-zone interceptions in yesterday’s game against the Rams, even though one was on the St. Louis 13 and the other on the St. Louis 1 (why were they even throwing?). I forgive him when he threw 2 consequtive picks that left our exhausted defense on the field even longer. But the fumble with less than 2 minutes left was unacceptable. Down by 2 points, looking at a 35-yard field goal, Warner knows that theres is no way he’s going to be allowed to throw the ball anymore, so he sabotages the game the only other way he knows how — by fumbling for the 8th time (yes eight) in three games.
